By appealing to all audiences, Doritos increases its chances of completing its goal of getting people to eat Doritos. The evidence of promoting Doritos can be seen when the man grabs a Doritos and then the boy slaps him. The boy then says, “Keep your hands off my mama. Keep your hands off my Doritos.” The little boy loves his mama, and so by him saying, “Keep your hands off my Doritos,” it implies that he also love Doritos. The commercial conveys its message ethically. It does this by making its point, Doritos are good, all while avoiding bashing any other chip brand. In addition, it doesn’t provide any false data. The delivery of the commercial was well thought out and well done. The part I am referring to is when the little boy is scolding the man. A little four year old boy scolding a full grow man about his mom and Doritos is very funny. Another reason why it’s well done is because it is funny to almost all audiences.
In today’s age, email has grown to be one of the most popular forms of communication. The reason for this is because of its simplicity. It makes it easy to communicate with people without the wait or cost that comes with mailing something. In addition, email also allows people to send out messages to large groups of people which is very convenient.

The email’s audience is people like me, those who have competed at the USA Junior Olympic Boys’ Volleyball Championships. They are targeting this particular audience because they want to try and get the best players that they can to represent their program over in Europe. They use several tactics in their email to achieve their goal of getting players to commit. One thing they do is make all of their information available through links. Anytime they reference something, they have a link right there next to it. For instance, they have links to the itinerary of all three trips that they offer. In addition, they also have a link to the online application that must be filled out to even be considered for the program. As far as evidence goes, they have pictures all down the side of the email showing the placing that you’ll visit if you are chosen to be a part of their program. They also have a FAQ section in the email in attempt to clear up any questions that someone may have. The director of the program also list all of his contact information if there is anything else that someone wants cleared up. The email seems to be ethical. They try and be up front with everyone and then list contact information to contact them if anything is blurry. They list the cost of each trip as well as the things that you are responsible for if you are chosen to be a part of their program. The email attempts to be as thorough as possible.

Therefore if you don’t own a living space in which you can decorate, then this billboard doesn’t apply to you. The holidays are the time of the year when everyone tries to decorate and make their homes look nice. By mentioning this, IKEA may be able to “guilt” people into making a purchase because they’ll feel that they have to add to their house for the holidays. On the billboard, IKEA advertises three of their piece: a sofa, dining set, and a chair set. In order to make their billboard more appealing, they arrange the furniture they’re advertising into the word “JOY”. In doing this, they hope to appeal to their audience by trying to convince them that they would be happier if they purchased furniture to add to their home or their apartment. They also attempt to appeal to the “average person” by picturing two people dressed casually on the billboard. By doing this they hope to convince their audience that buying their furniture won’t be an overbearing purchase. IKEA’s main goal as a business is to provide their customers with ready-to-assemble, affordable furniture. This casual, and friendly billboard is very appealing to home and apartment owners because shows that they can add to their home all the while not making a large dent in their bank account.
